HRVHS Theatre Department delivers an outstanding winter production

The Hood River Valley High School (HRVHS) Theatre Department captivated audiences with its winter production of Little Women, delivering an exceptional performance that showcased the dedication, talent, and hard work of student actors, crew members, and the production team.

Under the direction of Jennifer Graves, HRVHS’s new drama and theatre teacher, students brought the production to life with engaging performances, impressive set designs, and a passion for storytelling that resonated with the community. Graves, who joined the school this year, brings a wealth of experience and expertise to the program.

A special thanks goes to Kathy Paldyak for her outstanding costume work. Her attention to period details and creative design helped bring the characters to life and immersed the audience in the world of the play.

Equally noteworthy was the beautiful and functional set, designed by Jeff Lorenzen, whose artistry provided the perfect backdrop for the story and gave students a professional-quality environment to perform.

“We are incredibly proud of our students for their dedication and creativity in this production,” said Principal Columba Jones. “Their commitment to the arts and the support of staff, families, and community members made this experience memorable.”

A special thank you goes to Jennifer Graves, whose leadership and enthusiasm have already positively impacted the HRVHS Theatre Department. The school also extends gratitude to the many HRVHS staff, volunteers, and families who helped ensure the production's success.
